Despite only being 9 degrees C, 4 were again on the wing at Bardney Lock this morning, 14th November. |

Andy You probably had some of the latest dragonfly sightings in the country there? The BDS web site has 11 Nov as the latest so far. Cheers Brian |

Coincidentally 14 Nov was also the last date Common Darter was recorded at Whisby this year, but I very much doubt this comes close to the latest sighting in the country. Based on the last 3 years, the latest sightings for C Darter have been………………….. 2006 11 Dec (Devon) 2005 10 Dec (Cornwall) 2004 17 Dec (Somerset) Any sightings in Dec may be contenders, but Nov sightings would appear to be normal.
