A visit today in not too favourable conditions again, resulted in some good counts,the following species where recorded: 333 Blue-tailed Damselfly 229 Common-blue Damselfly 15 Red-eyed Damselfly 5 Hairy Dragonfly 109 Azure Damselfly 13 Large-red Damselfy 8 Four-spot Chaser(Including 1 of the form 'Praenublia'). Another visit today from 08.00-12.30 produced the following numbers and species: 412 Common-blue Damselfly 73 Azure Damselfly 441 Blue-tailed Damselfly 3 Four-spot Chaser 7 Hairy Dragonfly 14 Large-red Damselfly 14 Red-eyed Damselfly Regards Steve. |
