It may be excellent Steve, but until some form of seating is provided I will continue to call it a pain in the rear and moreso in the legs.
A couple of years back I was in correspondence with Lincs Wildlife Trust about this subject and it was like flogging the proverbial! And yes I am a member so it is my right to complain.
It wasn't so much the question of money but more the question of using wood foreign to the site. I suggested using some of the logs and making them in to seating, or bringing some of the logs that had been felled at Epworth Turbary at that time. I cannot remember the exact wording given, but the logs couldn't be used because they would be different to the trees at Crowle, which seemed odd as both reserves have Silver Birch etc.
So I asked why couldn't some of the logs laid at Crowle be used, not sure again of exact answer, but it was a form of an excuse.
Even those who are fit have said to me it is a pity that no form of seating is provided.
I've not been lately so for all I know seating maybe has been provided, and not before time either.
Let's hope someone from LWT reads this and does something.
Kind regards John
