Now that we are about mid way through November time for a bit fun to see who can log the last Odonate of the year in Lincs!

2 Common Darter still on the wing today (12 Nov) at Whisby in the NW corner of Apex Pit.

For interest this is not the latest Odonata record for Whisby. Since starting work here, I have recorded Migrant Hawker on 17 Nov (2004) and Common Darter on 14 Nov (2006) so there is still time to beat todays record.

Regards

Grahame

An update for Whisby for anyone whos interested!

2 Common Darter yesterday (14 Nov) with one in the Grazing Marsh, and D Nicholson recording the other at the new viewpoint on the south side of Teal Lake.
1 Common Darter today (15 Nov) on the south side of Coot Lake

With weak sunshine forecast for tomorrow, could be the last chance to see a Dragon this year!

Regards

Grahame
