How snake-infested is it? I would like to go and bird-watch there, but I'm terrified to the extreme of those long, slithery 'things'...... someone once said on here that there was a grass 'thing' there, and ever since I've been too frightened to go in case I see it!

Snake-infested, it sounds like you've been reading/watching too many horrors. This is east Lincs not the Amazon!!
