Exhibition
What will your New Year’s resolution be? To lose those Christmas calories? Take more exercise? Discover more about your surroundings?
If any of these are the case, why not call into the Natural World Centre at Whisby to visit Countryside NK’s exhibition between 19 January and 6 February 2008.
At the exhibition you will discover all about North Kesteven’s Stepping Out walks, how to find them and what you might see. Visitors will also be able to learn how North Kesteven’s ranger service, Watch NK, is looking after our countryside, making sure it is clean and safe to enjoy.
Younger visitors will be able to enter a competition challenging them to use their knowledge of the countryside to spot things that shouldn’t be there!
North Kesteven’s Countryside Promotion Officer, Theresa Hobbs, says, “North Kesteven’s countryside has so much to offer and this exhibition is to let visitors know what’s out there.
“There are 31 Stepping Out walks in all, offering something for everyone and it would be great to get people out there, enjoying our delightful countryside.”
