For the past two weeks a single Song Thrush has been visiting the garden most days. Although one visited last year [it could be the one here at moment] it's not often I see them coming.

May they long continue!

Regards

Max :)

Max,
The Song Thrush that arrived in my garden in early February (re my post of 12 Feb-"Spring is here!")and sang so lustily from the Field Maple, only stayed about a week. Sadly, it moved on too soon.
Like you,I really appreciate the presence of a Song Thrush in the garden and miss them when they go.

Regards,

Freddy

Max,

I now have a pair of Song Thrushes in the garden. I hope they stay to nest.

Regards,

Freddy

PS
It's a coincidence that in your Silver Listers post earlier today you should mention teleportation from General Lincs Birding to the Chat Section. Last night, sometime after midnight, I happened to doze off whilst surfing the web. I thought I was awakened by a series of knocking sounds coming from my Computer and it was 3am... (the time thay come to get you). I heard a voice telling me, "Ve are from der GEneral STAndards POlicy unit of der Special Chat Section and ve haf original vays of making you chat. Kommen Sie mit!" and I was whisked off to a cell-like room (plus padlock). A Man in Black with knee-length chat-boots started to interrogate me. But then I really did wake up. What a terrible dream!

PPS Don't tell the Germans.
