1 f marsh harrier
1 painted lady, of the insect kind unfortunately
pr yellow wags
2 damn cats, :evil: bad news for the ground nesters.

What about the RSPCA removing them or if they're feral and causing problems getting a farmer to shoot them? Might seem cruel but ground nesting birds have enough problems without rogue moggies.

I'm no cat lover but an alternative solution would be to borrow a trap from the local Cat's Protection League branch so they could take them in. That way, man, beast and bird would be happy!

Note to John Hague and Graham Catley – Cats are domesticated animals and it is an offence to shoot them.

Geoff, I did say first what about the RSPCA trapping them. If they're feral then no one owns them. I understand a farmer has the right to shoot dogs if they worry sheep. Well these buggers are scoffing scarce birds by the sound of it.

Let's not get too distracted by the pets argument eh?

ive spoken to the gamekeeper peter he does know about the cats the live around the farm the owner of the farm mike he belives as put them on the to keep the rats down as you know cats go for walk abouts most of use likes pussys ? peter the gamekeeper is a good friend of myself he will keep in touch about the damm cats .john lusby
