I think it is an excellent shot and depicts the bird as brilliantly as when we where watching it!

God how I hate, Neil Smiths brilliant photograph of last weeks Terek Sandpiper at Gibraltat Point on the front page of the Forum. It is a constant reminder of how slow I was off the mark. A bird I had wanted to catch up with and which I missed by a few hours - gone without a trace - so frustrating..... |
