Just a thought...... Is there any special reason (eg. technical) and other than tradition why the 'oldest' post on a multi-post thread has to come first when one logs onto that thread? One often only wants the latest/'newest' post (the others may have been read several times already, eg.' Black Redstart - Lincoln Cathedral') but one has to scroll down to get to it .......admittedly a simple enough operation but perhaps a pointless procedure. I would have thought that the latest/'newest' post (as clicked from the sub-headings Lincs Bird Reports - Lincs Bird Chat etc., which themselves are in date/time order), would be best received as the first post read, ie. at the top and not at the bottom. It would also link directly to the (latest) originator of the post as named in the sub-heading. Would this not make the system more user-friendly? After all, when we read individual diary blogs the 'newest' post always comes first and our multi-posts are really date/time diary type entries anyway, albeit from a number of LBC members. Any comments?
Regards,
Freddy
