While at Worlaby today I got chatting to one of the locals, they asked what I was filming so I told them a Short-eared Owl. I set the scope up for them to get a good view as by then it had settled on the gate to the east of the drain. They told me some of the birds they had seen while walking the carrs last year and one bird in particular took my notice, it was the bogey bird of north Lincs a Goshawk I didn't question their sightings but just listened [yes I can listen it's not compulsory for me to chat  ] and it wasn't just seen by this person but also their partner. Of course I was thinking of all the sceptics who would rubbish their sighting and we all know who they are don't we

It makes one think doesn't it!

It's not far as the Crow flies from one of their territories...

Thought it only right to mention this info on here, just in case one pops up in the future.

Kind regards

Max
