The Lincolnshire Bird Club

It has recently become apparant to me that some of my emails are not getting through to the intended recipients. I have no idea why this is happening or why only some emails are affected. I can send and receive emails without any error messages so the cause of the problem eludes me. I appologise to all those who were expecting replies to records submitted or queries etc.

A bit of delving around on Google turned up a relevant answer.

My ISP is Orange and it would appear that a number of other ISPs block emails from Orange because of the very large amount of spam that Orange does not bother to remove. In the last few days my emails have got through to a Hotmail account that always failed last week. Hopefully Orange has got a grip of this problem!!

I am still sending emails via Orange but if I expect a reply and don't get one I will resort to using Sheila's Hotmail account.

Thanks for the info. I am also now with Orange and seem to be having the same problem.
