For those interested Rog is still alive and kicking, he was sat on the grass with his trusty steed at his side, as I drove down Black Bank in the hope of seeing the Ossy. I asked if he had seen it and he had earlier. I drove to my usual parking spot after a chap shifted his camper and Rog soon followed, there was a couple of cars parking to see what we were looking at and I told them.
I said to Rog that he hadn't been on the bird forums since the unowhat saga. He now has a digi camera and is learning to take wildlife shots etc. He doesn't want to put them on the bird forums in case he gets someone winding him up, so he puts them on Facebook instead, much safer.
We had a good chinwag about all things wildlife and those who partake. i told him not to take too heart what some members say and just to laugh it off, like I do or give as good as I get or more so.
Anyway it was good seeing the old lad
and exchanging a few anecdotes.
He sends best wishes to those who like him and no wishes to those who don't
I for one miss his weekly reports from MSQ, even though I rarely go these days.
Come back Rog all is forgiven
