Believe it or not, the American film industries big autumn block buster is all about birdwatching! "The Big Year" is based around competitive birding in the US or year listing as we know it. Staring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson the cast is very impressive. Taken from a book of the same name, by Mark Obmascik, it will be interesting to see how the film is taken by the general public. David |

Read that thanks to JS letting me borrow it - good book and would make a great film - the adventure aspect would be good plus of course the birds.... |
