I visited the hide at Kirkby on Bain this morning at 0930 hrs only to find that it had been badly vandalised (holes broken in walls, interior shelves broken, notices scattered on floor etc.) I left a message for the local police (no one available to speak to "live") and informed the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. It would probably be advisable for people not to use the hide for a few days until the problem has been sorted! |

The police have attended and the Lincs Wildlife Trust have now closed the hide until repairs can be carried out - at this time I have no idea how long it will take. |

Pleased to say that although there are still repairs to be carried out the hide is now back in use. Thanks due to the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust for making the hide habitable again so quickly! |
