Just a quick posting to say,as the title says thank you and goodbye.
I'm moving out of lincolnshire to mid wales, machynlleth to be exact, for a new job.
I've enjoyed my time in lincs, andwould like to say nice to put names to faces, say hi and chat about what's about, and generally enjoy birding in this fine county.
Special thanks though will go to 'big' john hayes, andy sims, dean nicholson,'moaning' paul pulletz(if you've met him you'll know),graham hopwood and last but not least everybody I've met at boultham mere, fiskerton fen and blackmoor bridge over the years.
Cheers to you all

Never met you as far as I know but have read your posts.

Two years ago I went through Machynlleth on my way to Pennant near Llanon for a weeks holiday. I can certainly recommend Borth and Ynyslas which isn't far from your new place. Had a full day there and the weather was gorgeous in October. At Borth saw some Dolphins which made the holiday having not seen them before. Birds aplenty as well. My favourite area is Lake Vyrnwy, hoping to go next year.

Hope you will continue to put postings on in the non-Lincs section.

All the best

Max

Best wishes for your new job Keith. It was nice to meet you down at Boultham Mere from time to time and at Fiskerton Fen (Whiskered Tern last year, etc).

Best wishes again,
Matthew Strahan
