I stand the risk of being labelled a grumpy old man but is there anyone else who finds those b----y yellow things infuriating? When I see several of them I tend not to read the posting. Perhaps we could have a poll like we did for Ruddy Ducks!!! |

Sorry, Steve but I agree with Stuart and it is unfortunate that certain members always use them .......eg. for emphasis, or even for expressing a feeling of "joie de vivre".....the very opposite of grumpiness. However, if instead of putting 'b........y yellow things' Stuart had put yellow things, I would have understood his point much quicker and there would have been no need for the the use of (abbreviated) strong language. So, it looks as if Emoticons rule..OK. Freddy PS. Unfortunately, it looks as if Stuart won't be reading this. |

Take a Chill Pill Stuart , it always amazes me how little things seem to annoy some people so sad, ignore it move on and get a life, some people must look for things to moan about , Does it really matter if a comment is in the wrong section ? Off to Bed |

I'm delighted that my comment provoked an immediate response from two of the three people who I thought would bite immediately! I like your style, Steve, and to Freddy and Dean, all I have to say is before I take my chill pill (whatever that is). |

Thank goodness for emoticons Whenever I need to blow off steam and want to use rude words and never would on here, I can use the smilies I do tend to use them quite often and why not, if it makes me laff then it could make others laff and they may have had a bad day and need cheering up, so here is an example for those who have a bad day = Kind regards Max |

pity you have not more to do with your time stuart, especially after your p m to me complaining about my use of smillies, they are good to display the emotion involved in a message when a message can be interpreted several ways. terry whalin |
