Today at Messingham i saw something very spectacular, there were five noisy buzzards high over the car park, one of them grappled with another and started to spiral out of control, i first thought this was a courtship display as they tend to lock their talons together, they must have been like this for about 2 min and all the time getting lower and as they got lower i noticed they had not locked their talons together but one in fact had hold of one by the body, there was a lot of screaming going on and then it let go and it fell to the ground in one of the horse paddocks near to the car park, very unusual behaviour.
