When I walked across the fields to Boultham Mere last week I flushed an all white pheasant. I have not seen this before and although I suspect it was a juvenile I am wondering if it is usual? |

Hi Chris, All-white pheasants do occurr infrequently. I have seen four different ones in the past 10 years on the Estate where I monitor the Barn Owl boxes. However, this is a shooting estate so they may be reared birds. |
