This may be a really stupid question and I may end up kicking myself, but I have just been outside bringing in the washing and a flock of birds flew over calling quite high up. I didn't recognise the call but it sounded similar to a goose though it clearly wasn't the local Greylag population.
The house backs onto Cleethorpes Country Park and the flock sounded like it was heading to the coast.
Anyone have any ideas as to what they could have been or is there somewhere i can hear flight calls?
