Post subject:  RSPB BIG SCHOOL (or Garden) BIRDWATCH

My grandchildren school/class is involved with the 'RSPB BIG SCHOOL BIRDWATCH'.
As kids do they have asked their teacher if I could visit their school and talk to the class about why counting and looking after wild birds, is so important.

Many of you will already be aware or even involved, as it's run every year in January and February. (See link) http://www.rspb.org.uk/schoolswatch/index.aspx

It's a real fun and rewarding way to get children involved in conservation. So how about getting involved as well and be a part of the world's biggest birdwatch, why don't you?

The RSPB have also kindly sent me enough leaflets to get each child a free wildlife fun book. Nice one RSPB. =D>

Even if your children's school is not involved they can still do their own garden bird watch at home. :D
Visit the RSPB website at: http://www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch/?gclid ... tAodymsATg

Just register and download a counting sheet at: http://www.rspb.org.uk/Images/bgbw_shee ... 325757.pdf and your away.

Downloading and sending off for their free funbook couldn't be easier.
