| Post subject: | Sap suckers |
Over the last week I have observed both blue and long tailed tits drinking sap which is oozing from birch and sycamore trees. The long tailed tits were pecking at sap from holes probably made by a woodpecker. Anybody else noticed this behaviour? Ian Birch |
