Hi Jon,
Conversely, we have been travelling to Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham two or three times a week for the last 12 weeks. We regularly see at least two on the A46 near the Collingham turn off and two just after Newark as well as the odd one elsewhere. Can't say there's a decrease in this area.

Hi Jon.
Lots around RAF Waddington, regularly see 3 in air at one time with my best recently being 8. i live at the eastern end of the bypass in Lincoln and there is 1 at least around most times i look. If, i go out and about i have no problems seeing them.
Cheers
Brian

yes I see them round here it just seems odd that up north where you were tripping over them because of superb habitat, yesterdays weather was excellent for thermals and I would have expected to see loads of them and there were none
