Thought this may be of interest to our members.

Tomorrow evening (26.11.13) a new TV channel is being launched (Estuary TV) which will cover our region. It will be available around the Humber/Lincoln/East Yorkshire regions on Freeview channel 8 (between BBC3/BBC4)

In early December a pilot programme on this channel called "Discover Our Coastline" will be aired and will show footage/interviews from Far Ings NNR, Waters Edge CP and Alkborough Flats. I have provided nearly 40 bird images for the programme which I am delighted about! I am attending the launch of the channel tomorrow and will find out the details of the date in December that the programme will be aired and will update on here as to when it can be seen.

regards
Mandy

Estuary TV can also be found on Virgin Channel 879 (but not yet on SKY).

Cheers

Watched from 20:45 to 20:55 found the sound a bit tinny compared with main channels so switched over as it was affecting my viewing.

Will try again another day, maybe they are having teething problems

Kind regards

JTG

Think they have indeed had a few teething problems which will hopefully be sorted now!

"Discover our Coastline" scheduled for Sunday eve - 8th Dec. at 17.40-18.00 on Estuary TV (Freeview Channel 8 )
