Forest Pines; after 2 and a half hours chasing the crossbills flock round the Golf course,I eventually today got the "2 barred Crossbill just of the course stood on a farmers field nr tee 6 at 16.25,checking the flock as id done several times before this time the right one showed well feeding high up,my 3rd visit,chuffed but hard work pays off ,thanks to Barry Clarkson for his help earlier,he went,another birder russ gave up i carried on following the flock relentlessly and it paid off, rog.. |
