On Jan. 18th 2015 I noticed two people way out on the marsh at Grainthorpe who appeared to be
surveying the area. Does anybody know why this area should be surveyed?

Hi Roy
If they were in high vis and carrying a sat nav dish they are contractors carrying out the annual surveys of the
coastal geomorphology as part of the natural flood defence/risk for Environment Agency, they were at Theddlethorpe
last weekend, its a survey that has been ongoing for many years now.
regards John
