The farming industry has culled so many species already with modern practices, are they not happy until the land is 'cleansed'?

Dont know if i can still post but here goes?!
I was out at gone 6am to watch barn owls..upon my journey home through the woods i again saw a huge scaffold plank gracefully flying through the trees..such a beautiful bird..a huge buzzard..
(Unless its that white tailed eagle i read on Anthony's post)
It really is a most amazing creature to look at..so hearing this again about the cull deeply saddens me..if its anything about taking young pheasants like it was last time..crikey theres loads of them wandering about near me..alot end up getting finished off by the motorist..then politely cleaned off the road by our friend the buzzard!
Long live the buzzard!
Update..just listened to the radio clip Dean posted..Oi buzzard..keep your eyes off my barn owls Lol..

Having listened to the recording I sense the individual has somewhat of a hidden agenda. I thought the interviewer was pushing him into 'a corner' at one stage but she seemed to back off. A Buzzard taking an owl will not come as a great surprise to any of us. Reality is that they have their own niches and will balance themselves out given chance.

I couldn't make out from the radio as to whether the interviewee and his mate saw the Barn Owls being attacked by the Buzzards or they were just eating carrion. Anyone make that out?

Cheers
James
