I was the 11th to join the Forum in 2004 and there are now 345 people shown on the members list. Over the years there have been a fair number who have made multiple contributions to the Forum but have now completely disappeared off the radar. I know Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Birdline etc. have taken their toll but if they are still members I wonder why they no longer share their sightings with the rest of the Membership on the Forum?

Hello Stuart,

My excuse is I rarely go out unless its to Leeds for treatment and most times I do put a report on non-lincs section as I have one to put on soon, going yesterday. Most days I haven't the energy or the inclination to drive, some may call me lazy but I don't really give two hoots, no pun intended  . I'm happy watching the assorted birds in my garden especially of late.

I'm not into tweeter etc. I sometimes don't come on the computer for two weeks, just can't be bothered.

Watched the Tour de France all days bar the time trials, even watched it on holiday  the weather was crap two days. Also now an avid spotter of the ISS and to be honest the few mins I see it gives me more excitement than spending hours on end in the car waiting for summat decent to fly over!

I still enjoy going to local patch. Enjoyed my visit to Blacktoft few weeks ago to see the celebritys and got some pics.

That's my excuse =D>

Cheers

John

Hi John,
No apologies needed - you are still a regular contributor. Forgive my ignorance but what is the ISS?
Regards,
Stuart

ISS is the internAtional space station, and I was a fairly regular forum poster,I moved to mid wales(where the birding is frankly rubbish!),I keep a regular eye on the forum but obviously don't post, but looking at moving back up here,if I do I'll start posting again.
