A Wood Warbler found at Sea View Farm, Saltfleetby NNR on Sunday 08/05 proved to be an educational experience. Rather than call or utter its distinctive song it was instead observed giving a repeated phrase not dissimilar to Western Bonelli's Warbler (with a bird reported at Gib and my utter lack of experience you can see why I goofed here).

I've posted a recording and a write-up on the blog here: http://jjf-gy.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/fun-with-phylloscopus-wood-warbler.html

Regards,

Josh
