It's said, the villagers don't like birders, but don't let that put you off. ![]() Rog, I have been told the same as Dean. Which is understandable. Maxie ![]() |

strange also that no-one jumping in with all 4 feet may have considered that there could be a valid reason for lack of postings; has anyone thought to contact the management team or to consider that forum protocol may also be compromised by posting details; Schedule 1 springs to mind in more ways than one; No-one is trying to keep the place to themselves but at present access is still limited with car parking being the main problem; if the present sytem is ruined then everyone will suffer |

Now That has been clearly defined,i agree with the comments given, car parking is a problem, too small, its just a pity these outlines/problems was not made to lincs birders earlier, thereby clarifying a problem that has been allowed to run and run causing animossity to this particular site and the suppression there of. the point is if everybody suppressed every good/scarce/rare/mega rare bird for selfish or whatever reasons all over lincolnshire ,then what a miserable hobby birdwatching would be!!!!lets hope therefore these problems at alkborough can be resolved so we can all get back to being a cohesive group of lincolnshire birdwatchers who wish to share our finds with one another/enjoy our great hobby and get rid of this bad feeling, nobody wants it,but i agree there is management issues that need to be resolved for the benefit of not just birders but anyone who wishes to visit this superb place. Roger. |

It has to be considered also, that one local birder and a regular visitor to this location does not at the present time, have internet access, which might go a long way to explain the lack of recent sightings posted on the forum. Dave Johnson |

Dean, Could it be the person/s in question have seen or heard what has been going on in the past few months on here and decided they do not want an ear bashing! Or for their own reasons only decided to tell their friends what birds are there. On two occasions I've spoken to the local birder about putting reports on here, and for privacys sake I won't reveal what he said. Over to you Graham. |
