I am lost for words. I really am. Bill's just done his Top Ten of Liked and Loathed bird species (voted for by the public, but Bill had some influence on the overall result).

Here are the results:

LOATHED:

1 - Pigeons
2 - Gulls
3 - the Magpie
4 - Sparrowhawk
5 - Canada Goose (WHAT?!?!?!?!?!)
6 - 'Little Brown Jobs'
7 - Starlings
8 - the Mute Swan (WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!)
9 - Carrion Crows
10 - House Martins

LOVED:

1 - Ducks (not if they hoover up all the bread in your ground feeders, greedy little ****** ***** *** ***** ******** ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
2 - Blue Tits
3 - Robins
4 - Puffins
5 - Jays
6 - Kestrels
7 - Wrens
8 - Grey Herons
9 - Barn Owls (No judgement - they should be No. 1!!!!! GRRRRRR)
10 - Nightingales.

I am most surprised. Where are the Finches? Would have thought the Goldfinch would have been in the 'Loved'.......

** GOES OFF FOR A SULK **
