Not Lincs I know, but an interesting bit on the BBC website detailing how a Godwit travelled non-stop for 11500 km at around 40 mph taking a week to get from Alaska to New Zealand.

That is an impressive accomplishment by any standards, what about the 8week old Godwits, they are about to take the same 10,000mile trip as the parents - just 8 weeks of age :!: :!:

I thought the 40mile Winter walk of the Emperor Penguin through Antarctica was a hard one to beat :!:
