Thanks for the good wishes, having just experienced the busiest
summer workload for many years spending 68 hours on the Huttoft Pit project, above my normal busy workload, retirement is becoming ever more attractive, or at least moving to part time next year.
Interviews for a new ass site manager will take place later this month , so i hope to have an onsite collegue to share the workload by November.
Have been awarded a 100£ winter fuel allowance Katherine, but not yet thought about the bus pass, still use a bike where possible. I,m
keeping some leave available for oct and migrants? . John.

More congratulations from me and Nicky. Apart from bus pass you can now get cheap train fares and 10% off at B&Q! Can't wait

Many Happy Returns, John - I expect you to reciprocate next May when we can both go on free bus trips!

Hi John

Fear not, I passed the six oh landmark three years ago tomorrow! I don't feel any worse for it either.

As for retirement - go for it! You'll be so busy that you will wonder how you ever found the time to go to work as I have these last seven years!

We hope you had a great day John,

Colin and Sheila
