Many of you will know 'farmer' Ron Scatliffe, who has been a keen local birder for many years. Ron has been in hospital for several weeks undergoing a course of chemotherapy. I am sure you will want to join me in wishing him speedy improvement so that he might be home for Christmas. Roy |

We had been wondering how Ron was getting on, as we'd not seen him for quite a while. We send him and his wife our very best wishes for a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him out bird watching again very soon. Thanks Colin & Sheila for the good wishes, and all the very to you too! Am pleased to report that Ron is now home and, although a little tired when I spoke to him this morning, was in good cheer and wondering if he will soon be adding to his Lincs. list in the form of a dartford warbler - reported at Gib Point again today.
