All those who know the infamous Max, may or may not be sad to learn of his demise. He didn't mean anyone any harm he just enjoyed winding-up certain members of this forum who are easy meat. I'm sure I am good enough to replace him.

As I didn't come on PC yesterday I have only just learnt of the above. Which is no where near as sad as losing a long-standing friend of nearly seventeen years this afternoon, namely my beloved cat Fannie-Anne, who sadly had to be put to sleep.

I know cats get a bad press about killing birds etc so if anyone wants to have a pop go ahead. But I'll come back on you with all guns blazing.

Regards

John [Max]

PS: of course he could be resurrected at any time

Hiya Terry,

Although I am a suitable replacement for Max, I could never be descibed as a "fat old swine", thin yes!

Don't worry I will give you the promised tour of MSQ, with Max's well known sarcastic wit thrown in, you can't ask for better than that.

I'll also give you the password [when we meet up] to allow you entry in to the famous Manton Triangle. Who knows what we may find, maybe a Goshawk or a Golden Eagle...

I'm finding it odd when going through the sections of forum, I'm looking for Max and cannot find him
