| Post subject: | fieldfare / golden plovers |
In the leics side of Saltby airfield today there were approx 200 fieldfare and approx 150 golden plovers , they have been around for several weeks and i am puzzled as to why they are still in this country any ideas ? |

Both species do not return to their breeding range until later this month. Fieldfares have been recorded in early May. Hope that helps. |
