I would like some advice please. My present tripod is okay for my scope unless it's windy. But now that I'm getting used to digiscoping etc I want to purchase a second tripod, also want to use it for filming. I need something a bit more bulky, only a wee bit more. I've just been looking at Manfrotto and Velbon on web. As with most things there are so many to choose from! I suppose it's down to personal preferance. Budget can run to £130 ish. Thanks John |

I should think a Manfrotto is the way to go. Strong, sturdy and stable. If you are near Lincoln, I think London Camera Exchange have several in stock to have a look at. I like mine... ![]() Dave |

You will probably be limited to the 190 model with a 390rc head, based on your budget. I think the 'kit' deal may work out better value. Mines a 190 with a 128 head and copes happily with a 77mm Kowa scope. regards, Dave |
