Hi all,

I have been unable to visit the site for a while, and I just wanted to know if there was any feed-back from my recent article in LBC News? I hope you enjoyed the report. Also, another big thankyou to the LBC for helping me financially, it is unlikely I would have got so far without your input, thanks.

Robert
fascinating stuff, very pleased you achieved so much. I have toured australia for 7 wks or so in 1999 brings back so many good memories of a beautiful country full of very special birds especially the mallee fowl and honeyeaters. I especially liked Barren Grounds reserve where i saw the ground parrot whip birds emu wrens etc, what a place bowerbirds parrots i could go on and on.
Hope you go on to volenteer again elswhere. I can thoroughly recommend New Zealand where once again the birdlife is very special, hard work but rewarding. Good luck for the future and keep up the good work you must make your parents very proud.

Hi Robert,
You made an old man extremely envious! It was a well written, informative article and I'm pleased that the Bird Club was able to help you. Keep us informed of your future projects - we might have another Alex Lees in the making!

Stuart and Terence,

Thankyou so much for your replies, I am pleased you enjoyed the article. It was a brilliant experience and I plan to undertake another journey such as this one in 2010 (but very much in the early stages of planning that!) Thanks again,

Robert
