Good luck getting a lift...

I have moved this message to chat. Let us know if you get down to see it, although I think the Collard Fly would be a better bird??

Andrew

Don't mind in the slightest, Andrew!

And, yes, the Collard Flycatcher is on my wanted list as well, but I don't want to seem too much of a hinderance to people!

But if somebody's going for both, and doesn't mind a few bob coming his/her way and a little company, I'd never say "No".

Hi Alistair,
Would just like to say good luck and don't be too hopefull of getting fantastic views as the bird can be a bit of a pain to say the least. We went yesterday and it was all over the place, but we did manage satisfactory views, seeing it well on one occasion on the ground and got excellant flight views overhead also.

Regards

Steve.

Hi Steve,
Perhaps you'd be " a bit of a pain and all over the place " if you'd had to put up with some of those other passengers with you on the P&O Cross Channel Ferry (or was it SeaFrance ?). and then find your own way up the coast to Dunge.

Regards,

Freddy

Apart from Freddie's bantar, I didn't get to see the Crested Lark, thought it was too far and too much of a hassal and too much of a woory, me missing a bus and having to spend the night in a bus shelter...

But, I did go for the Bonelli's Warbler and Collard Flycatcher. Which weren't there, but I did get to see the Hooded Meganser!

So that's £168.43 all for the Hooded Meganser. A trip worth while, considering Graham Catley spends over £1,000 on bins every year...

And this would be a perfect bird for Katherine to go and see, because it is across the Esso garage and the roundabout from the rail station.
