Just checked my copy of Mitchell/Vinicombe's 'Birds of Britain: The Complete Checklist' and it gives Semipalmated Sandpiper a 'rarity status' of 4, and Western Sandpiper a rarity status of 5. Long-billed Murrelet is given a 5. |
