A Harris's Hawk sporting jesses was soaring with a Common Buzzard near the old coastguard cottages this morning. It eventually settled on a pile of dead wood, then later flew to the top of a large hawthorn. Close-by nesting Carrion Crows soon drove it SW across the fields and inland. |
