I have just published a book Birds and Bibles in History
(The London Press, Feb., 2012).
It deals with the history of Ornithology with special reference to the birds found in the Bible.
It is the most scientific study ever on the subject, based on the original Hebrew and Greek texts.
Chapter 12 for example has a section on Ospreys of Britain, and Chapter 3.2 deals with Charles Darwin.
