Good Afternoon

Hopefully you have heard about one of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts flagship sites Potteric Carr Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Doncaster? If not we are a 500 acre reserve with a mix of wetland, grassland and woodland habitats, run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Over the next few months we will be seeing some big changes and we would love to show them off to you!

We are inviting groups of 10 or more visiting the reserve in 2016 free entry if they book before the end of October 2015. All you need to do is email this address or call 01302 570077 to book your groups visit. The only catch is that we are only taking a maximum of 2 groups per day so booking is essential and on a first come first served basis. Do not worry if you have already booked your group visit, all you need to do is get in touch with us before the offer closing date and your group will also gain free entry.

The main addition to the reserve in 2016 will be our new visitor centre which we are aiming to be completed by late Autumn 2016 . This is not the only change though, we have acquired more land to expand the reserve and you can see more details of the latest goings on through the attached PDF. Along with this we are hoping that 2015 will be a record year for species on the site. You can view daily updates of sightings through http://www.ywt.org.uk/blog/potteric or if you would like to see a specific month you can view the monthly records on http://www.ywt.org.uk/bird-list-2015

You would be welcome to visit the reserve regardless of time of year or group size and whilst admission charges do apply if you are a member of any Wildlife Trust with a valid membership card you will receive free entry onto the reserve. For more information on opening times, charges etc please visit http://www.ywt.org.uk

Kind Regards
