Re my Costa Rica trip in November 2017 (11th-25th) - the content of the trip has now changed and will include a few days in Panama, in search of the majestic Harpy Eagle!! ...We shall begin/end as always in San Jose, visit the Highlands for Resplendant Quetzal and also a stay is planned at Rancho Naturalista for many more stunning birds such as Snowcap before moving to the South of Costa Rica close to the Osa Penisula (Esquinas Lodge) then onward into Panama - a truly wonderful experience awaits - places are limited and full details will be available in the next few days...please contact me to reserve a place or to request further information...mandy_west48@yahoo.com or PM me Hope you can join us on this spectacular trip! Thanks!

I now have the full details available for my Costa Rica/Panama trip this coming November (11th-25th) - it is sure to be a once in a lifetime adventure - we shall visit various parts of Costa Rica including the Highlands, Caribbean middle elevations and and the Southern Pacific/Osa Penisula then onto Panama to bird the Cerro Azul (Blue Mountains) We will then travel to the Darien area where we shall spend a couple of days with the colourful, indigenous Embera tribe and live as they live during our stay (not to be missed!) before heading on a expedition to find the world's most powerful eagle, The Harpy Eagle - standing over 3 feet tall and with a wingspan of 7 ft, has got to be one of the top "must see" birds in the world ! I have a lot of interest already in this tour and places are limited so please do get in touch for details/itinerary....

The cost of this tour is coming in at £2875 per person based on two sharing a room. Single rooms are only available for the Costa Rica part - in Panama the rooms will be shared...single supplement cost for Costa Rica is £300.

Price includes, airport pick up/drop off in CR, transportation, driver, all the accommodations, all meals starting with dinner on arrival day and ending with breakfast on departure day (except for dinner on Nov 19 and lunch on Nov 24th) bilingual guides, entrances to national parks and reserves, all the activities as described in the itinerary.

Not included: Airfares, departure tax ($29 each departure), alcoholic drinks, personal insurance and other personal costs. We will need to book a short flight from Costa Rica - Panama ( depending on the airline, cost is between £100-200 return)

For the itinerary please contact me by email mandy_west48@yahoo.com

This trip is now full. However, one of the ladies booked on this trip is willing to share her twin room with another lady so it is possible to offer another place on this basis.

Also, this small group trip will run in 2018 on roughly the same dates and 2 places have already been reserved on this - please contact me for details if you are interested in joining us then.

regards
Mandy
