 Post subject: Shag - Blue LPB.

Details of a dead Shag found by GPC, DH and myself last week-end are as follows:-

Metal ring no. 1444013, colour-ringed blue LPB below knee on left leg.

This bird was ringed by Isle of May Observatory as age nestling, sex unknown on 15-Jun-2009 at Isle of May, Fife, UK.
OS Map reference NT6599, co-ordinates 56 deg 10 min N - 2 deg 33 min W.

It was found on 18-Feb 2017 at Donna Nook, Lincolnshire, UK.
OS Map reference TF 4498, co-ordinates 53 deg 27 min N - 0 deg 10 min E.

Finding condition:- Found dead on high water mark.

It was found 2805 days after it was ringed, 351 km from the ringing site, direction SSE.
