Juvenile Sandwich Tern seen on Gib Point beach at 2030 on 140715. Just received the following reply. Y-NL5 was ringed as a pullus on 29/6/15 at the Scheelhoek in the Netherlands. Proves the value of coded colour rings where important data can be gathered ( with a good scope such as Nige has ) without re trapping or disturbing the bird. regards John |
