Arrived mid afternoon, had a chat with a pal at Far Ings, told me a Scaup and a Little Gull had been seen in the vicinity. Was hoping to see Barton's most famous resident, was told he was here, but our paths never met.

Barn Owl - 1 [ it came into view near the drain and we drove slowly along road while it looked for food, just before we got to railway, I stopped and saw it's eyes in headlights in the grass. It took off with something in its talons, magic! ]
