3 hours there this a.m. produced, inter alia, the following:

Marsh Harrier 6 juv.
Merlin 1
Barn Owl 1
Kestrel 2
Wheatear 1
Golden Plover 6
Kingfisher 1
Grey Heron 9
Blackheaded Gull 750
Lbb Gull 120
Herring Gull 2
Common Gull 1
Common Tern 1

The large count of gulls (with Herons) was finding plenty to eat on rape stubbles. I was there at sunrise and large numbers were already flying westwards before I reached the rape fields to count them, so roosting numbers must have been very considerable. No Audouins, though!
