Went with Steve Keightley to try out my new telescope (payment will be imminent).
Lifer number 159 - Yellow Wagtail!
Also:

Black-headed Gull - usuals all in winter plumage
Little Egret - 1
Cormorant - 1 preening
Canada Goose - 20
Mallards - usuals
Lots of Swallows getting ready for the big move south
Tree Sparrow - 1 large flock
House Sparrow - smaller flock
Goldfinch - 10
Starling
Pied Wagtail - 5
Magpie - 1
No time for more extensive look as I have the house to myself until Wednesday and have no transport. Steve gave me a lift home.
