Donna Nook: mid afternoon
Kestrel - 2
Swallow - 3
House Martin - 3
Gulls - 6
The lack of birds was unbelieveable...
Theddlethorpe: mid to late afternoon
My first visit. After the above it couldn't be any worse.
Arctic Skua - 1
Common Scoter - 12
Rimac: 17.20 - 18.45
One of the Egrets looked much bigger, more the wingspan of a Grey Heron. It never came close enough for a positive ID but saw it flying on quite a few occasions and alongside the Little Egrets it looked much bigger. The sun was shining at the time. I'm most likely wrong but thought it best to let you know, so maybe someone else can check it out. The bird was present all the time I was there. The following are the other sightings:
Little Egret - 8
Redshank - 7
Shelduck - 40
Arctic Skua - 4
Curlew - 4
Sanderling - 15
Common Scoter - 19
Oyk - 2
Pink Feet - 31 on the shore + 70 & 120 over south
Short Eared Owl - 2
Kestrel - 1
Golden Plover - 30 over
Mallard - 9 over
Cormorant - 1 over
It turned cold as the tide was coming in, and what a most beautiful sunset as I left.
